EPK’s Tips: Beach Day

The beach is one of the favorite places to share with family; in EPK we are aware of the importance of having quality clothes to have protection from ultra violet rays, so we give you the following tips:

• Choose comfortable clothes made with high quality fabrics, preferably sun and sea water resistant. The EPK swimsuits are pieces that fulfill these characteristics, besides their designs and colors are varied.
• Choose cotton clothes: your children are at risk from suffering heat stroke and to help keep them cool you have to choose loose apparels, made with 100% cotton, because this fabric is light and allow air to reach the body, avoiding skin irritation. • Shorts and T-shirts are great for kids, while girls will be better with sleeveless dresses.
• Sun is good but no excessively and the skin of our babies is very delicate, so they should always be protected with caps, special lenses and umbrellas, so this way they can enjoy more the environment and remain protected from the sun inclemency.
• Shoes: even though they will be on the water for some time, your children need shoes to protect their delicate feet from the sand’s heat and objects that could hurt their skin. Ideally, the shoes should be closed from toes to heel, but with slots so the air can flow and the foot can go without socks. The waterproof sandals with unique fabric and fast drying are perfect for these occasions.
• Carry personal hygiene supplies: wet wipes, special baby gel, moisturizers, comb, shampoo and also the most important thing the sunscreen.
• It is always a good idea to have a toy by hand to amuse the children and share time with them.
